Lunch in Shreveport

“My wife and I went for our first time for lunch today. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. We were also surprised by how affordable everything was. The music selection they had playing was really good as well. My wife ordered the Library Burger and I had the daily special which was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans . We shared the bread pudding for dessert, it was amazing! Our bill was only $46, it was worth every penny! For the value and quality of food, this is one of our new favorites in SBC!”

“This is a wonderful lunch place. The lunch menu is varied, and I've been twice, and everything I've ordered has been great. Do not miss the Truffle Fries! I've done soup & sandwich both times. The adult grilled cheese and the smoked turkey. Tomato Basil Soup is excellent and just had soup od the day :Wild mushrooms & rice curry soup was spicet and yummy. Our server on both occasions was very good and attentive. Now I'm going to need to try it in the evening!”

“We stop here from time to time - always for lunch. We are old, retired folk and don't like to stay out much past 3/4 o'clock 🤣🤣 So, strictly judging on lunchtime visits, we can highly recommend it. It's easy to find- right on Bert Kouns. The place is always clean ... The staff we've met over the years have all been great. Very friendly, helpful, and professional. No complaints on the various dishes we've tried ! If it wasn't tasty we would not keep going back, now would we 😋 So stop by and give it a try!!”
